Gulmohar Studio is a home-grown ethnic and fusion wear label. Every fabric hand-loomed or hand-printed. Every piece made directly with Indian artisan communities. Everyday wear, elevated through craft.

The collection

Made to be worn.

This drop

The Ajrakh edit.

Forty days at the block-printing table in Kutch. Natural madder and indigo pressed into cotton, one block at a time. Made to last a lifetime. Worn from the first day.

01

Directly from the artisan

No middlemen. No wholesale markets. Every hand-loomed fabric and block-printed textile comes directly from the craft community that makes it.

02

Everyday ethnic & fusion

Not occasion wear. Not costume. Hand-stitched dresses and skirts designed for real days - the office, the market, the dinner, the quiet morning.

03

Honestly priced

Affordable without apology. India's finest handloom craft should not be a luxury. Gulmohar Studio makes sure it isn't.

Our craft

The living map of Indian craft

The promise

What we will never do.

Never the word luxury. Never a sale that cheapens the craft.
Never synthetic where handloom exists. Never plastic packaging.
Always name the craft. Always name the region. Always, where we can, name the hands.
Handcrafted. Ethically made. Honestly priced.

Artisan spotlight

The artisan is not a supplier. The artisan is the brand.

Every collection carries the face and name of the hands behind it - the village, the craft, the years it was passed down, never written, only remembered in the hands.

When you wear a Gulmohar piece, the hang tag tells you the craft, the technique, the region, and the artisan community. Because their story is inseparable from the garment they made.

Craft for every day

We are just beginning.

First look at every new drop, and the artisans behind it. Grown slowly, on purpose.

Phase 1 · Women's ethnic & fusion wear

The collection

Hand-loomed, block-printed, and hand-embroidered dresses, gowns, and skirts - each rooted in one craft, one region, one set of hands.

Our craft

India has a thousand ways to make a textile

Every state, every district, every village has its own hand. Gulmohar Studio is built on these living traditions - not as an aesthetic, but as a foundation. Our job is to put them on bodies, not in glass cases.

Slow fashion, on purpose

Small batch. Slow craft.

A dress that took forty days to block-print should not be designed in forty minutes. We source slowly, make slowly, and grow slowly - because the craft we work with demands it.
India has made this cloth for thousands of years. We just make it into a dress you can wear today.
